Biography
Sergio Zylbersztejn is an Assistant professor of Orthopaedic and Traumatology at the Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre (1980). He holds an academic degree in Medicine from the Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre, and a master’s degree in Orthopaedic and Traumatology from the Universidade de São Paulo (1987). He is a member of several editorial boards, such as Sanamed (Serbia); Coluna/Columna (BR), RBO (BR), The Spine (USA), The Global Spine Journal (USA); Rheumatology and Orthopedic Medicine (USA).
Research Interest
He holds research interest in spine: scoliosis, deformity, infection; tumor; fracture; congenital; metabolic. Infant, adolescent, adult and older patients.

Lucila Ludmila Paula Gutierrez is an assistant professor of Physiology from the Basic Health Sciences Department at the Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre (2002). She holds an academic degree in Pharmacy from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2000) and an Sc.D. in Biological Sciences (Physiology) from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2007).

With a research interest in health education, her projects involve applied health education research, Pharmaceutical care and basic health care. She also has experience in cardiovascular physiology.

Biography
Josué Almeida Victorino is an assistant professor of the Internal Medicine Department. He holds a medical degree from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) (1988), and a PhD in Pulmonology from the Universidade de São Paulo (2002). He is the coordinator of the commission of the Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre, and an assistant professor and specialist at the Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre (UFCSPA) in the Critical Care Medicine service. He is also a specialist from AMIB e SBPT, and a senior member of the American Thoracic Society.
Reasearch Interest
He holds research interest in the intensive care area, with emphasis on intensive therapy, with emphasis mainly in the following subjects: mechanical ventilation, acute respiratory failure and electrical impedance tomography.

Biography
She holds a degree in Medicine by the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul in (1996), residence in gynecology and obstetrics at the Hospital Conceição from the Group Hospital Femina (2001); she pursued a PhD in Epidemiology from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul in 2007; she received her PhD from the State University of Pennington Biomedical Research Center in 2006, in study of methods used for obesity research. She was a research fellow at the University of Oxford -UK- Department of Primary Health Care in 2003, having the opportunity to interact with leading names in evidence-based medicine and meta-analysis. She is a postdoctoral fellow in epidemiology at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. She is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Collective Health at the Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre. Herareas of interest in research are epidemiology of gestational diabetes, epidemiology of obesity, epidemiology in gynecology and obstetrics, environmental epidemiology and systematic review and meta-analysis.

She holds experience in the area of collective health, with emphasis on epidemiology, the research topics of her interest comprehend the following topics: epidemiology of chronic diseases, environmental epidemiology, sexually trasmited infections, sexual health, systematic review and meta-analysis.

Biography
Cristiano Bonato Both is an associate professor of the Exact and Applied Social Sciences Department (DECESA) at the Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre (UFCSPA) (2015). He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2011), where he also accomplished a post-doctoral period (2013). At UFCSPA, he is currently the coordinator of the Pattern Detection and Signal Analysis Group (DPAS) and coordinator of the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (NITE). He is an investigator on research projects funded by H2020 EU-Brazil, CNPq, FAPERGS, and RNP.

Cristiano is involved with research activities on wireless networks, signal processing, computer network architecture, and software-defined networking publishing his scientific works in journals with high impact factor, such as IEEE Communication Magazine, IEEE Wireless Communications, Computer Networks Journal (Elsevier), Journal of Network and Computer Applications (Springer), etc. He has a history of dedication to research activities, such as the organization of scientific events, participation in the Technical Program Committee of relevant symposia, and reviewer of relevant journals. Cristiano is also engaged in supervising and education activities on undergraduate and graduate courses on the Computer Science area.

Biography
Cristiane Kopacek is an assistant professor tenure of Pediatrics at Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre (2017). She holds an academic degree in Medicine from the Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre (2001), a Master’s of Science Degree in Endocrinology from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2006) and a Doctoral Degree at same University in 2016. She has been a member of the European Society of Pediatric Endocrinology since 2008, member of Pediatric Endocrinology Scientific Committee from Brazilian Pediatric Society from 2010-2015 and a founder member of the Pediatric Endocrinology Department of the local Pediatric Society. Her main activity since 2010 is newborn screening, specially in endocrinopathies.
Reasearch Interest
With a research interest in newborn screening, her projects involve applied clinical research and molecular biology for congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) and other endocrinopathies. She also has experience in rare causes of CAH and adrenal disturbances. Other research interests involves precocious puberty and disorders of sex development.
