About the program
The Professional Master’s Degree in Family Health aims to complement the training of professionals who work in Brazil’s Family Health Strategy and Primary Health Care, preparing them for research and teaching in the areas of public health, promoting the integration between teaching and the service, and strengthening the service network of the Brazilian Unified Health System.
Graduate profile
Family Health Program graduates will be able to carry out and coordinate teaching and preceptorship activities, have a lifelong commitment to learning, develop research and intervention projects, produce knowledge in the Family Health field based on the practice in health service, among other initiatives.
Infrastructure
The program is provided with the structure of UFCSPA’s classrooms and laboratories. As it is a blended-learning program, having 832 of its 960 hours taught online, most part of the activities will be developed in the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) – Open-Source Moodle (Modular Object-Oriented Distance Learning).
