Graduate's competences and skills
UFCSPA’s graduates are competent general physicians capable of practicing the profession within ethical, humanistic and social responsibility principles. Graduates are trained to seek and interpret the best evidence in medicine and recognize current technologies, integrating them into the practice of their profession in a critical way, always adapting to the context of collaborative and interprofessional strategies. Upon completing the program, UFCSPA graduates are able to practice their profession in a competent, critical and transformative manner at different levels of individual and collective care, and in the context of the Unified Health System (SUS) in force in Brazil, being aware of the socioeconomic reality and politics of the population in which they are inserted.
