Biography:

Silvio César Cazella has been a professor at the Exact Science and Social Applied Department at the Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre since 2010. He holds an academic degree in Informatics from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul -PUCRS (1993), a Master’s degree in Computer Sciences from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul – UFRGS (1997) and a PhD. in Computer Sciences from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul – UFRGS (2006). Reasearch Interest:

With an interest in research that encompasses Machine Learning using Data Mining and Text Mining, Recommendation Systems and Educational Recommendation Systems, Serious Games, Permanent Education, Distance Learning and Design of Learning Objects for D.E. environments, his projects involve focused research in these areas applied to Health and Education domains. His recent interests involve Internet of Things (IoT), Ubiquitous Computing and Virtual Reality on Health and Education Domains.
