Biography

Cecilia Dias Flores is an associate professor tenure of the Exact and Applied Social Sciences Department at the Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre (2006). She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computing from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (1991), a  Master's Degree in Computer Sciences from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1995), a PhD Degree in Computer Sciences from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2005).

 

Reasearch Interest

Dr. Flores holds research interests in Biomedical Informatics. Her projects involve Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare and Informatics in Education, specifically in the following topics: knowledge representation and decision making under uncertainty, learning objects and simulation.
