Biography

Pedro Alves d'Azevedo is an full professor of the Department of Basic Health Sciences of the Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre. He holds a PhD in Sciences (Microbiology) from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2001) and a Post-Doctorate from the Discipline of Infectology of the Universidade Federal de São Paulo (2006).

 

Reasearch Interest

He holds experience in the field of Microbiology mainly in the research of antimicrobial resistance and epidemiology of gram-positvos (Enterococcus, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus).
