Biography 

Fernanda Cechetti is an adjunct professor of the Physical Therapy Department at the Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre (2013). He holds an academic degree in Physical Therapy from the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (2003) and a PhD in Neurosciences from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2011). She is a permanent professor in the Rehabilitation Sciences graduate program of the same university, and has experience in the area of Physical Therapy, working mainly in the following subjects: Neurosciences, Aquatic Physiotherapy  and Neurological Rehabilitation.

Reasearch Interest

With a research interest in neurological rehabilitation, her projects involve applied clinical research and animal experimentation, with a focus on rehabilitation strategies for neurological diseases. She also shows interest in the rehabilitation of patients through Aquatic Physiotherapy after years of clinical experience.
